Hridoy’s 122 off 126 balls, which included nine fours and one six, helped Bangladesh reach a competitive total of 264/8. He got good support from Mohammad Naim (47) and Afif Hossain (50). Faisal Jamkhandi was the pick of the Canadian bowlers, scalping 5/48 from his eight overs. In reply, Canada folded for 198 in 49.3 overs, handing Bangladesh a 66-run victory. Captain Arslan Khan was the top-scorer for Canada with 63 and the only one to score a half-century. Bangladesh bowler Afif Hossain starred with 5/43 from his 10.
