India vs NZ Kanpur Test: Hosts in command, Kiwis 93/4 at stumps on Day 4

India reached 159 for one at stumps on Saturday with Murali Vijay (64) and Cheteshwar Pujara (50) at the crease.

Chasing an improbable target of 434 runs, New Zealand were 93/4 at stumps in their second innings on day four of the first cricket Test against India here on Sunday.

Ross Taylor got run out (R) and Kane williamson was trapped leg before by Ashwin to leave the Kiwis struggling in their 434-run chase.(AFP)

India declared their second innings at 377 for five.

Cheteshwar Pujara top-scored for the hosts with 78 and his 133-run second-wicket partnership with Murali Vijay (76) was the highlight of the innings.

New Zealand need another 341 runs with six wickets remaining.
