3rd Test Day 2 Highlights: India trump England by 10 wickets within 2 days in Ahmedabad, take 2-1 series lead

Indian opener Rohit Sharma bags the Game Changer of the match after scoring a fifty in first innings and guiding India to victory in the second.

"We were 70 for 2. But we didn't really capitalize on it. 250 on that wicket would have made it different. We will come back using this hurt and come back as a better team. The plastic coating on the ball gathered the pace of the wicket. It was high-quality bowling as well. Both sides struggled on that wicket. We don't define ourselves on a performance like this. "Pleasant experience (on reaching 400 Test wickets), good that it happened in a winning cause. We were worried after getting bowled out for 145, didn't think we didn't have many runs on the board. But we then bow3led beautifully on a wicket assisting us," says Ashwin.

We are minutes away from the third session of Day 2, which could well turn out to be the final session of this Test match. India openers Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma will walk out to with only 38 to get. But those runs won't be easy for sure.

Axar Patel has picked up 11 wickets in this match but what about Ashwin? He picked up three in the first innings, four in the second and more importantly became the second fastest after Sri Lankan legend Muralitharan to grab 400 Test wickets.

England were bowled out for 81 in the second session of Day 2 in the day-night Test. Axar Patel picked up five wickets while R Ashwin grabbed four as India got all 10 England wickets in this session. And this is after India had lost their seven wickets in the first session.

Top top it all, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gilldown to managed to get 11 runs to bring the target down to 38 more runs for India now.

India were 11 for no loss after bowling out England for 81. The hosts now need 38 more runs to win this game and go up 2-1 in the series. Rohit Sharma (6*) and Shubman Gill (1*) will resume the innings after the break. Stay Tuned
