Royal Challengers Bangalore scripted a narrow victory over Chennai Super Kings on Sunday and kept their slim hopes of making it to the play-offs alive. The victory was courtesy some smart glove-work by keeper Parthiv Patel who ran Shardul Thakur out to give his team victory on the last ball.

RCB tweeted a video in which coach Gary Kirsten can be seen praising Parthiv Patel for his brilliance. Just when Kirsten was talking, an excited Yuzvendra Chahal enters the frame and breaks into an impromptu dance. Kirsten on seeing Chahal also praised the leg-spinner for his smart bowling. The video was posted with the message,”#GoodTimes at the RCB camp! Super Challenger @parthiv9, gaffer @Gary_Kirsten & champ @yuzi_chahal share a light moment post game. Let’s keep it this way until the end of the season, Challengers!”
Royal Challengers Bangalore have now 3 out of their 10 matches and will need to win all of their 4 remaining matches to stay in contention for a play-off spot. Parthiv Patel is the third highest run-getter for the franchise this season with 287 runs, behind the talismanic duo of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.
Chahal on the other hand continues to be a rare sparkle in RCB’s struggling bowling line-up, having picked up 14 wickets in the 10 matches so far.
