When you realise that the likes of Rahul Dravid, Jacques Kallis and Kevin Pietersen have all played for Bangalore, you would expect the team cupboard to be glittering with silverware. Somehow RCB have choked at the final step.

While the team fell short of the play-offs in 2012, they were runners-up in 2009 and 2011 and semifinalists in 2010. Though these are respectable finishes, RCB would be determined to go all the way in 2013.
