Paris was going to make his debut this season with Delhi Daredevils, which purchased the left-arm swing bowler for Rs. 30 lakhs.

The 23-year-old, who made his ODI debut during the home series against India in January, suffered the injury during a Sheffield Shield match against South Australia in Perth last month.

Paris scalped 35 Sheffield Shield wickets at an average of 19.57 during the 2015-16 season. He also bagged ten wickets in the Matador Cup one-day competition.
