Gujarat Titans vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Commentary

2:08 PM IST Bangalore were definitely a few runs short at the halfway stage and it has cost them dearly in the end. They also failed to pick up wickets in the Powerplay which allowed the opposition to get off to a good start. The wickets did come in the middle overs and Shahbaz Ahmed bowled exceptionally well. Wanindu Hasaranga too picked up a couple of important wickets. At the death though, the experienced trio of Mohammed Siraj, Harshal Patel and Josh Hazlewood just couldn't stem the flow of boundaries and Bangalore succumbed to a third defeat in a row.
2:04 PM IST Guess what? Gujarat have done it again! Rahul Tewatia and David Miller have pulled off yet another heist for Gujarat to make it 8 wins out of 9 nine and no team in the history of the competition has had more points after nine matches than Gujarat.
1:59 PM IST Right then! That is all we have from this game but the second game on Super Saturday between Rajasthan and Mumbai which is dedicated to former Aussie great and Rajasthan skipper, Shane Warne is underway. Rajasthan are batting first in that one. You can switch tabs and enjoy that match. Cheers!
1:58 PM IST Rahul Tewatia has been adjudged the PLAYER OF THE MATCH (43 off 25 balls) for his match-winning antics yet again.
1:54 PM IST Well, there are not enough words at the moment to describe this Gujarat team. They look down and out at times but in the end, they just find a way to win matches. Wriddhiman Saha got his side off to a flier but his partner Shubman Gill struggled. Both of them fell and Sai Sudharsan and Hardik Pandya soon followed suit. But then David Miller and Rahul Tewatia added on a match-winning partnership of 79 runs to get the job done once again in the final over. The composure shown by both batters shows how confident they are and this is what a winning run does.

Josh Hazlewood to Rahul Tewatia, 4 runs

FOUR! Rahul Tewatia finishes it off in style! The finisher does it again! What a partnership and what a team Gujarat are! They are just never out of the game and these two with a clinical chase here have proved it again. It is full and outside off. Rahul Tewatia stays deep in his crease and lifts this over extra-cover for a boundary. Gujarat win by six wickets!
