Mumbai vs Vidarbha Ranji Trophy Highlights, MUM vs VID: Vidarbha put in a good fightback on Day 5, as Akshay Wadkar got his ton. The Vidarbha skipper smacked 102 off 199 balls, packed with nine fours and a six. He was well-supported by Harsh Dubey, who got a half-century. Dubey slammed 65 off 128 deliveries, including five fours and two maximums. But the tide shifted to Mumbai when Tanush Kotian struck to remove Wadkar. Then immediately, Dubey fell to Tushar Deshpande as Vidarbha's challenge crumbled. Deshpande and Kotian struk again, removing Aditya Sarwate (3) and Yash Thakur (6) respectively. Meanwhile, Umesh Yadav (6) fell to Dhawal Kulkarni.

Vidarbha lost their openers Atharva Taide (32) and Dhruv Shorey (28) in the opening session of Day 4 as they aim at chasing a mammoth 538-run target in the Ranji Trophy final. Shams Mulani struck the opening breakthrough after both openers posted a composed 64-run stand; Mulani trapped Taide in front of the stumps to get the breakthrough. In the very next over, Vidarbha lost their second wicket, too, as Tanush Kotian removed the dangerous Shorey.

Shortly after the start of the third session, Mokhade, who had been looking solid, departed on 32 off 787 balls as Musheer Khan picked his first wicket of the innings.

Shams Mulani gave the final push to the Mumbai innings with an unbeaten half-century as the hosts posted a massive target in front of Vidarbha in Ranji Trophy final. Mulani remained unbeaten on 50 after Musheer Khan scored a century earlier in the day.

Musheer Khan and Ajinkya Rahane started Day 3 on a positive note for Mumbai but the latter was dismissed for 73 by Harsh Dubey Just when Vidarbha were hoping for a miracle, in walked Shreyas Iyer. The right-hander showed no mercy to the hapless Vidarbha bowling unit and raced to his half-century in no time. Young Musheer at the other end was rock solid, thwarting any hopes mustering in the Vidarbha camp. Mumbai scored 125 runs in the first session at the loss of just one wicket.

In the second session, Iyer launched a no-holds-barred attack on the Vidarbha spinners. Musheer took his time but reached his second first-class century in style. Just when it was looking like Iyer too would reach a well-deserved century, he was holed out at long-off for 95.

Hardik Tamore didn't last long. He was out for 5 to a peach delivery from Yash Thakur. At the stroke of Tea, it was Musheer Khan who was dismissed for 136 by Dubey.
