Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh showed his support for Dhoni’s decision when he tweeted - “Well done @msdhoni for dropping #Amarpali builders..they didn’t gave us VILLAS they announce after 2011 worldcup win.”
Doni’s decision came after the residents of Noida’s Sector 45 Amrapali Sapphire Society had tagged the Indian skipper in their tweets complaining about the delay in completion of the housing project.
Amrapali, which had signed Dhoni as its brand ambassador in 2009, promised villas worth a total of Rs 9 crore as gift to MS Dhoni and his team mates after their victory in the 2011 World Cup.
