Steve Smith is a batting genius on the field and a character off it. The former Australia captain doesn't shy away from banter with teammates and fans, and even gets involved in some batting quirks at times. But it was Mohammad Rizwan who stumped Smith during the ongoing second Test between Pakistan and Australia at the National Stadium, Karachi.

Batting on 54, Smith seemed to be trapped by Nauman Ali but the LBW appeal was turned down by the on-field umpire. With the timer running fast, Rizwan was spotted putting his arms around Smith to ask him whether Pakistan should take the review. Pakistan eventually didn't take the DRS but the hosts managed to remove Smith in the 89th over. He departed after scoring 72 off 214 deliveries.

The official Twitter of Pakistan Cricket shared the hilarious clip of the DRS incident and the 20-second video went viral on the platform in no time. "To DRS or not to DRS," captioned the PCB.

Usman Khawaja was the top performer with the willow for Australia on opening day. He scored a century in the country of his birth and moved to a sedate 155, helping the touring side reach 332-4 at lunch on Day 2. Khawaja, who has hit 15 fours and a six, raised his 150 off 322 balls with a single behind square leg off Hasan Ali.

Australia resumed on overnight 251-3 and nightwatchman Nathan Lyon frustrated the Pakistan bowler by scoring 38, defying the opposition for an hour and 15 minutes. Faheem Ashraf finally broke the partnership after castling Lyon's middle stump.

Travis Head scored 23 before getting trapped by Sajid Khan while Cameron Green (28) fell prey to Nauman Ali. Australia reached 407-7 at tea with Alex Carey (26 not out) and Mitchell Starc (1 not out) at the crease.

Both teams are currently playing in Karachi after Australia's first Test in Pakistan since 1998 ended in a draw in Rawalpindi. The wicket received a "below average" rating by the ICC as well. The third and final Test is scheduled to be played in Lahore from March 21-25.
