She expressed her resentment on microblogging site Twitter, tweeting: "Woke up and heard on TV that we are not Coowners of RR! Only want to say there is NO DOUBT that RAJ is a stake holder and I am the Brand ambassador, This IS THE TRUTH!.
According to Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Shashank Manohar, Shilpa and Raj's names do not even figure in the IPL team's shareholding papers.
