Virat Kohli vs Ravindra Jadeja

RCB skipper Virat Kohli slammed fifth IPL ton in his last outing and will be eager to inflict similar damage on CSK at his home ground. CSK’s Ravindra Jadeja will be tasked to stop Kohli as the all-rounder holds a good record against him in the cash-rich league. Kohli has scored 104 runs off 96 Jadeja deliveries in the past but the right-hander has been dismissed by his Indian teammate thrice.

AB de Villiers vs Harbhajan Singh

Although AB de Villiers has been among the runs this season but his struggles against spinners must have been noted by every other team in the competition. Harbhajan Singh will look to continue his good record against the South African as de Villiers scored just 103 runs off 76 deliveries but the off-spinner has dismissed ABD thrice in the IPL.

Moeen Ali vs Imran Tahir

England all-rounder Moeen Ali struck an outrageous 28-ball 66 in his last outing and CSK will be aware off his capabilities. Imran Tahir bowls during the middle-overs usually and that means both players are likely to face each other at some point in the game. Although Tahir and Ali haven’t come face to face yet in the IPL, in T20Is, the South African has dismissed the Englishman once and has given 9 runs off 8 deliveries.

Suresh Raina vs Yuzvendra Chahal

Middle-order batsman Suresh Raina has struggled to reach the heights of previous seasons barring one match and his task is just about to get harder as he will be up against his nemesis Yuzvendra Chahal. Although Raina has scored at a strike rate of 131 off Chahal (87 off 66), the leg-spinner has managed to dismiss Raina four times in previous editions.

Ambati Rayudu vs Dale Steyn

Middle-order batsman Ambati Rayudu looked good in his last outing against SRH but ran out of partners as CSK lost their second match of the season. Against RCB, he will have to deal with the pace and guile of Dale Steyn, who looked impressive in his season opener (2/40). Steyn has caused troubles for Rayudu in the past as he has gotten rid of him once and given just 31 runs off 27 deliveries.
