DEHRADUN: A fresh spell of snow and rains lashed Uttarakhand on Tuesday. Due to snowfall, the plains, including Dehradun, shivered due to the cold. According to the meteorological department, some parts of the
state could further receive snow and rains in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Farmers who were waiting for the rains for long, will benefit from the showers, said Bikram Singh, head of Dehradun meteorological department.
