Three arrested in Doon for betting on T20 World Cup
The Dalanwala police have arrested three youth for betting on the ongoing Twenty-20 World Cup, in Dehradun on Sunday.

The Dalanwala police have arrested three youth for betting on the ongoing Twenty-20 World Cup, in Dehradun on Sunday.
The police received information that some persons were betting on the England and South Africa match on March 29. The Dalanwala police raided a vegetable cart at Cement Road, where they nabbed Akil Ahmed of JP Nagar, Jawed Ali of Muzaffarnagar and Chetan of Rispana for the same.
The police recovered four mobile phones and three paper chits used for betting. The accused told the police that they bet on the matches online, and deposited the money into Jawed’s account.
The police are interrogating the accused to get more details about the network.
