A 26-year-old man was caught by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) after he got on to the rail tracks at the AIIMS Metro station and sprinted towards the INA
Metro station on Saturday morning.

According to the CISF, the CCTV observer at the AIIMS Metro station spotted the man, later identified as Tabuk Malik, on the railway tracks at 11.15am.
“Our staff immediately alerted the quick reaction team deployed at the station and they traced the man. He was stopped and was pulled up on the platform. He was then taken to the station’s control room for questioning,” said assistant inspector general (AIG) Hemendra Singh.
Singh said, the man told them that he is a labourer from West Bengal. “He said his contractor brought him to Delhi promising him good money. He said he was heading towards Gurugram when he got a call from someone known to him who told him that the contractor will not pay him the money. He said he got scared and in order to return, got off at AIIMS metro station and started walking in the opposite direction of the train,” the AIG said.
The officer said the man was fined ₹150 for the offence.
