NEW DELHI: Light rain will continue in the city till Friday with a break on Tuesday, India Meteorological Department (IMD) officers said on Sunday.

On Sunday, 2.2 mm of rain was received at the Safdarjung observatory, which is considered as Delhi’s official meteorology station. 3.1 mm of rain was recorded at Lodhi Road and 3.6 mm at Ridge.
The maximum temperature was 32 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal. The minimum was recorded as 26 degrees Celsius, a degree below normal. Humidity was between 95% and 73%.
According to IMD officials, Monday will bring a cloudy sky and light rain. The temperature will be between 33 degrees and 26 degrees Celsius.
Delhi has received 428.1 mm of rain as opposed to 412.2 it usually gets till the second week of August. This is 4% above normal.
