A Class 12 student of Delhi Public School, RK Puram, committed suicide in the Malviya Nagar area of south Delhi on Sunday.

According to police he was in depression after giving his board examination. The police recovered a suicide note in which he has written a poem.

“Harshvardhan Pokrial (19) was found hanging at his Malviya Nagar house on Sunday afternoon. We have taken statement of his family members and reason of suicide could not be established,” said a senior police officer requesting anonymity.

His body was sent for an autopsy. The report is awaited. “He was studying in DPS and his father is working in a hotel,” the officer added.
