The college on NH-24, part of the Sunderdeep Group of Institutions, have also relieved its director Umakant Bajaj of his duties and lodged a complaint with police, a senior official said.

“The incident took place late on September 17. Some senior B.Pharm students started ragging three junior students on the college premises. The security officer was informed who rescued the junior students,” said Subhash Gupta, chief executive of the group.

“As the college has already taken action, we will do the needful once they lodge an FIR,” SP (Rural) K.K. Asthana said.
