The report of the Ram Pradhan Committee which probed various aspects of the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai including lapses by security agencies should be made public, a panel member said voicing disappointment over the Maharashtra government keeping it under wraps even two years after the audacious strikes.

"I can say that I was personally very disappointed that our report which is not classified was made into a classified document by the Maharashtra government. Now we don't know the reasons," V. Balachandran told CNN-IBN.
The report is a chronicle of what the police did and some of them have done commendable work and how certain situations could be avoided and a lot of material could be of great use to the public, he said.
The report should be published since this involves security of the public. "This is not the VIP security," he said.
He said there were several intelligence pointers that such an attack was coming to Mumbai but this could not be properly assessed.
Balachandran regretted that a National Counter Terrorist Centre has not been set up for processing intelligence inputs regarding terror attacks.
