A herbal treat for city

The 24th Garden Tourism Festival, being organised this year by Delhi Tourism, in association with the Delhi government and Incredible India, was inaugurated by Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Friday at The Garden of Five Senses.

The 24th Garden Tourism Festival, being organised this year by Delhi Tourism, in association with the Delhi government and Incredible India, was inaugurated by Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Friday at The Garden of Five Senses.

The festival's main attraction is the theme-based garden 'Herbs for Happiness'. There are about 70 variety of herbal plants on display, including stevia, aloe vera, and rosemary.

Besides there are about 10,000 potted plants and flowers on display, including dahlias, orchids, demarpotica salvias, marigold and cineraria.

In all there are about 45 varieties of annuals on display. The festival is on till February 20 and will be open from 11 am to 8.00 pm.
