In yet another development in the Aarushi-Hemraj murder case, Dr Rajesh Talwar on Tuesday requested a Ghaziabad court to direct the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to hand over the case related documents and witness statements. The CBI Special Judicial Magistrate (SJM) court, last week, had ordered the CBI to hand over a copy of its 31-page closure report to Talwar.

Both Aarushi and Hemraj were brutally murdered at the Talwars' Jalvayu Vihar residence at Noida on the intervening night of May15-16, 2008.
In his application, Talwar has asked the court to furnish him with copies to allow him to file his protest petition over the closure report. Dr Rajesh Talwar, who is also a first complainant in the case, has maintained that the case should not be closed.
The SJM court has fixed January 21 as the next date of hearing of the case as also Talwar's application.
