A day after veteran Communist leader Satya Pal Dang slammed LK Advani for wrongly portraying him in his book as being dead, the BJP leader regretted the incorrect reference.

Advani spoke to Dang on the phone, and expressed regret for referring to him as “late”, in the book, party sources said. Speaking to HT from Amritsar, the 88 year-old Dang confirmed that Advani spoke to him and said, “It was a very brief chat, during which he regretted the mistake in his memoirs, and wished me well”.

Dang told Adavani that “mistakes can be committed by human beings, and it was fine that he had admitted it”.
