Two weeks after a 13-year-old domestic help was rescued from a doctor couple's house in Dwarka, another minor girl was rescued from a lawyer couple's house in Dwarka on Tuesday evening.

Police said they had received an anonymous call about a minor girl employed by the couple to look after their four-month old daughter. On Wednesday, the girl was produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) which has ordered the police to take action against the couple.
"We were informed that a minor girl was employed at a house in Janta flats in Dwarka. A team went to the house and rescued the girl,” a senior police officer said.
The girl, in her statement to the CWC, said she had been living in the house for a year and used to do household work apart from taking care of the baby.
"The girl is 8 years old and is from Bareilly in UP. We have asked the police to register an FIR. Though she denied any torture but employing a minor is a criminal offence," a CWC official said.
