Aviation security system reviewed

The civil aviation minister, Ajit Singh, reviewed aviation security systems in the country and released a commemorative special cover issued by the Department of Posts to mark the silver jubilee of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).

Singh appreciated that the BCAS has taken laudable steps to ensure security of passengers on board.

“The bureau has endeavoured to help equip stakeholders responsible for the aviation security with cutting-edge technology,” Gurjot Singh Malhi, the Commissioner of Security of Civil Aviation said.
