Congress general secretary and Member of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi's stolen cellphone was recovered from the house of a "baggage handler" by the CISF. The handler had reportedly stolen the phone.

Though no police complaint was lodged, the CISF, that looks after the IGI Airport's security, was asked for assistance by the Special Protection Group (SPG) that protects Gandhi. The incident took place nine days ago when Gandhi was returning from Dubai.
Sources say it was a new phone and Gandhi asked his men to look for it when he couldn't find it in his baggage. "It was a new phone and he had not used it. It was traced with the help of the IMEI number," said a source. Sources said two baggage handlers were involved in the theft. One of them had sneaked it outside the airport.
"Technical surveillance revealed the phone was at the baggage handler's home. He was interrogated and we have asked the airlines to take action against him," said the source.
Police said they were yet to get any complaint from either Gandhi or CISF.
