Promising to bring a revolution in Delhi once she becomes the chief minister, Kiran Bedi in her first address to party workers said that she would keep education and the home department with her as she had enough experience to handle them.

Taking potshots at the Aam Aadmi Party, the BJP’s chief ministerial face said, “Delhi does not need someone with a learner’s license.”
“They do not know how to train the officers of different administrative departments. For them there is only one training that is of ‘dhamki’ (threat) of suspension or transfer. But I know that you have to work with full cooperation with the administration then everyone will listen,” she said.

Bharatiya Janata Party workers gathered in hundreds to greet her with bouquets and garlands.

Talking about her plans for the capital city if she is elected chief minister, Bedi said she would start using school buildings after children leave to run polytechnics so that the youths get adequate training.

“I have several ideas that I will tell you all slowly. Continue to read newspapers and television channels. You will come to know of my ideas. I know how to work with the administration so as a chief minister I will keep education and home department under me. I know for sure no Delhi police officer will betray me in fact they are waiting for me to become the CM,” she said.
Bedi was accompanied by former MLA from Krishna Nagar and now union minister Harsh Vardhan. The two heaped lavish praises on each other, showing signs of a strong bonhomie. Vardhan referred to Bedi as his elder sister. Bedi said she would have wanted to see Vardhan as the chief minister of Delhi.
