“Keeping in view the festive season, 30 samples of sweets were lifted in the past
three days. A total of 652 samples have been lifted during the last 73 days. Of these, 539 samples were tested and 44 have been found to be faulty,” said Ashok Kumar Walia, Delhi health minister.
Walia has also directed the department to act swiftly to curb adulteration in food

ensuring quick testing in the laboratory to file cases under the new Food Safety and Standard Act.
