BJP slams Delhi Govt for allowing fee hike
BJP slammed the city government for not addressing the grievances of parents protesting the fee hike by private schools in the national capital.
BJP on Wednesday slammed the city government for not addressing the grievances of parents protesting the fee hike by private schools in the national capital.

“The Government has not shown any sympathy to the parents’ grievances on the issue of hike in tuition fee by the private schools,” senior BJP leader VK Malhotra told reporters.
Criticising the government for allowing fee hike, Malhotra said private schools were provided land at very low rate on the condition that they will provide free education to 25 per cent poor students.
He said the government should allow transfer of students from private schools to government schools.
“The government should allow transfer of children from private schools to government schools in all the classes,” he told a press conference.
Terming the hike in tuition fee as unreasonable and arbitrary, he said the government should also consider extending financial assistance to private schools.
Acting tough, the Delhi government on Tuesday issued show cause notices to 12 private schools in the national capital for arbitrarily hiking the tuition fee.
