Spurred by the Congress-NCP developments, senior BJP leader LK Advani said the troubles of the UPA combine were likely to get aggravated now.

"The Congress attitude is arrogant and it wants to rule by taking the help of the CBI, instead of trusting its allies," BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said on Friday.

However, the NCP has categorically stated it is with the UPA coalition and will contest the 2014 general election as part of the alliance.
