"While Tara Chandra Sahu, the Lok Sabha member from Bhilai, has been expelled, Rajya Sabha member Shiv Prakash Singh has been suspended," a BJP functionary told IANS in New Delhi on Tuesday.

They were found involved in anti-party activities in the recently concluded assembly elections, the functionary said.

"They were issued show-cause notices and the decision was taken in the meeting of the party's parliamentary board three days ago," the functionary added.
