A 19-year-old boy was arrested in Outer Delhi for allegedly attempting to kill his elder sister in the name of family honour.
The police arrested Vinesh from Katewara village on Sunday. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Chhaya Sharma said the boy, who suspected that his sister was having an affair, allegedly arranged for a country-made pistol and five live cartridges from someone in UP’s Loni area.
He fired at his sister on October 11.
