Chandra Shekhar admitted at Apollo hospital

Chandra Shekhar is an eight term Member of Parliament from Ballia Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

Former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar, who is suffering from multiple myloma cancer, was hospitalised at the Capital's Apollo Hospital on Thursday after his health deteriorated.

His condition is said to be out of danger, but he is under observation, his assistant, who is looking after him at the hospital, told.

"His general condition is poor, but he is not critically ill, his pulse reading is around 100-102 and temperature is normal. He was admitted on Thursday," she said.

He is an eight term Member of Parliament from Ballia Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

Currently, he is representing Samajwadi Janata Party.
