Delhi continued to reel under cold wave on Friday even as the mercury rose slightly to settle at 7.4 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature on Thursday was 6.1 degrees, which was the season's lowest so far.
Today's minimum temperature is one degree below normal for this point of the season. Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees, Met department said.
Shallow fog reduced the visibility to 500 metres at 7.30 am. However, there was no report about any flight disruption due to the fog.
Met department's forecast said that there may be mist in the morning tomorrow. The minimum and maximum temperature will be around six and 23 degree Celsius respectively.
The Met department attributed the cold condition to snowfall in the upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir.
