Government must honour the statement of Home Minister P Chidambaram on December 9 last year and take steps for formation of Telangana state, Congress MP Madhu Yakshi said.

17 Congress MPs from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha participated in the demonstration holding placards which said 'Jai Telangana' and 'Jai Congress'.

We would continue the agitation till our demand is met and if required we would quit from the party, MP Rajgopal Reddy said.
