A 30-year-old man, allegedly belonging to a Mewat-based gang of cattle lifters, was arrested for the death a police constable during a getaway bid gone awry last week

A 30-year-old man, allegedly belonging to a Mewat-based gang of cattle lifters, was arrested for the death a police constable during a getaway bid gone awry last week, police said. Sukha, a truck driver by profession, was one of the nine gang members who was trying to steal cattle from Bharat Nagar on May 19, said Chhaya Sharma, DCP (south).
