After the murder, the woman’s body had been disposed off in the Yamuna in Delhi, police said.

The Allahabad High Court had taken a strong view of the case remaining unsolved and had called Ghaziabad senior superintendent of police (SSP) Raghubir Lal to appear in court.

Lal said that the couple had pushed the victim into prostitution and had killed her when she demanded money. Police said Aas Mohammed was a history-sheeter.
