Couples hurt in road mishap

Two young couples were injured after the car they were traveling in turned turtle after hitting a road divider in central Delhi’s Daryaganj area late on Saturday night. HT reports.

Two young couples were injured after the car they were traveling in turned turtle after hitting a road divider in central Delhi’s Daryaganj area late on Saturday night.

According to the police, the victims were returning home after attending a party in south Delhi when their car was reportedly hit by a truck on the ring road and it overturned after hitting the road divider.

Interestingly, the accident was not reported to the police by any of the victims who were rescued by some passers-by. The police believe that the car driver was under the influence of alcohol.
