CRRI submits interim report on BRT to Delhi High court

On Tuesday, the CRRI conducted an opinion study on the BRT corridor. They asked a large number of bus, car and bike users about their travelling experiences on BRT corridor before and after they started the trail run with mixed traffic on the 5.8 kilometre corridor.

Car and bus users were asked questions by a group of 20 CRRI scientists and researchers. "The initial results are overwhelming. Users are finding the current arrangement better. When we analyse, I am sure, it will spring a surprise," said a senior CRRI scientist.

"The traffic queue at different intersections on the BRT corridor is passing in a single go, as the green signal time has improved. Earlier, it would take two to three green signals for the traffic queue to pass," he added.
