Delhi continues to shiver at 4.3 degrees Celsius

Rail and road traffic were disrupted though flights remained unaffected.

The winter woes of Delhiites continued on Tuesday as well with the temperatures remaining low at 4.3 degree Celsius early morning at 6.10 am.

Though the minimum temperature was slightly higher than Monday's, there was a thin layer of mist in the early morning hours.

"Runway visibility range at the Palam airport was at 1200 metres and a layer of mist enveloped the capital in the early hours today," Meteorological Department officials said.

Rail services remained behind schedule and trains reaching Delhi were delayed as the plains were under a thick fog cover. However, air traffic was unaffected.
