A 15-year-old student was abducted by a relative and two of his associates, driven to an abandoned south Delhi flat and sexually assaulted on Wednesday morning, police said.

A 15-year-old student was abducted by a relative and two of his associates, driven to an abandoned south Delhi flat and sexually assaulted on Wednesday morning, police said.

While the police have arrested the main accused in the case, one Pradeep (28) his associates Rahul and Amit are on the run. The police said the victim, a student of class 10 at a local government school near her residence in New Ashok Nagar’s Dallupura, was abducted minutes after she had left home for school around seven am.

“Pradeep was loitering at the end of her residential lane and forced her into a Mahindra Scorpio vehicle in which his friends Rahul and Amit were already seated and gagged her before binding her limbs,” said an officer.

“They started driving the vehicle away and threatened her with dire consequences against screaming or attempting to attract attention in any way,” police said.

According to the police, the accused then drove her to an abandoned flat located in south Delhi’s Sarojini Nagar area, where they took turns to sexually assault her.
