Delhi records 3 dowry deaths in 24 hours

Four Delhi women became victims of dowry violence inside their own homes in the last 24 hours. While three of them died, the fourth is fighting for her life with 85% burns.

On Saturday, Rakhi, 28, was allegedly set on fire by her husband in southwest Delhi. The same evening, Divya, a teacher, was found hanging in her flat in Dwarka.

In the third case, also on Saturday, Neetu, 28, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her flat in Mansarovar Park. On Sunday, Mamta, 27, died after falling from the third floor of her apartment. The families of all three said dowry demands led to their deaths.
