Dharmendra arrives from LA for trust vote

BJP MP Dharmendra, who was recuperating from a knee surgery in the US, arrived in Delhi to be present in the Lok Sabha for the confidence vote.

Acting on a BJP directive, actor-turned party MP Dharmendra, who was recuperating from a knee surgery in the US, on Monday arrived in New Delhi to be present in the Lok Sabha for the confidence vote.

The 72-year-old Bikaner MP, accompanied by a doctor, landed at the Delhi airport on Monday morning, BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy said.

"He may not be participating in the debate but will surely vote against the Government," Rudy said.

He said the actor was under "adequate care" of the doctor during the journey from Los Angeles.
