JD(U) on Saturday said the differences between Nitish Kumar and the BJP that had kicked up a political storm in Bihar over a fortnight ago have been resolved.

"The issue (differences between JD(U) and BJP is on track. The unfortunate incident of June 12 (when posters of Nitish Kumar holding hands with Narendra Modi appeared in Patna leading to cancellation of dinner hosted by the Bihar Chief Minister for BJP leaders) is over now. It has passed now," JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav told reporters in New Delhi.
His comments came a day after Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Sushil Modi accompanied Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the last leg of his 'Vishwas Yatra' to Gaya district, signalling a thaw in JD(U)-BJP ties.
Modi had earlier refused to join Kumar for the Yatra at Paliganj in Patna protesting the Chief Minister's decision to return the Kosi flood relief money given by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
