Brace for traffic jams on Ridge Road (Vande Mataram Marg) for at least a month from Saturday.
A carriageway of the road will be closed for traffic as the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation carries out major repairs on the Airport Metro Express line.

“The repair work begins on Saturday and will continue for about a month. No traffic will be allowed from Dhaula Kuan towards Karol Bagh and other places in central Delhi on Ridge Road,” said Satyendra Garg, joint commissioner of police (traffic).
Buses and heavy vehicles will be diverted from Dhaula Kuan on Ring Road towards Naraina.
