The Delhi government has sanctioned payment of arrears of the dearness allowance of DTC employees, besides paying the bonus before Diwali.
Delhi transport minister Ramakant Goswami said the government has decided to give Rs. 7,500 to 28,000 permanent employees as DA arrears and Rs. 3,500 ex-gratia to 38,000 employees, including to those who are on contract.

Goswami said the government has sanctioned Rs. 56.65 crore for disbursement of bonus, ex-gratia and DA arrears.
