The Delhi Metro has decided to curtail its services on some lines on Sunday due to the Republic Day full dress rehearsal.
The train schedules of Line—2 (Huda City Centre-Jahangirpuri) and Line—6 (Central Secretariat-Badarpur) will be changed due to security reasons, Delhi Metro officials said.
The Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro stations — which are close to Rajpath — will remain closed between 6am and 12.30pm on Sunday.
The trains on Line—6 will be available for passengers from Badarpur to Khan Market section till 12.30 pm.
However, the interchange of trains will be permitted at the Central Secretariat station during this period.
"Normal Metro train operations will resume after 12.30 pm. The changes have been made as per advice from the Delhi Police," said a DMRC spokesperson.
Metro train services on all other lines will run as per schedule. HTC
