Drugs haul at Delhi airport

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) apprehended three men with drugs worth Rs. 60 lakh from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) apprehended three men with drugs worth Rs. 60 lakh from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday.

At 2:28am, the surveillance staffs of CISF stopped three passengers — C. Lalchhal, 28, C. Znanghak, 27 and Zorema, 21 — from Mizoram.

"They said they were working at a company in Gurgaon. They were intercepted at Terminal 1-D where they had come to catch a flight to Guwahati by Indigo Airlines," Hemendra Singh, CISF spokesperson said.

They were carrying three suitcases and on screening, 'pseudo-ephedrine' tablets weighing 77.5 kgs were found.
