Deepak Malhotra, principal of Dyal Singh College (Evening), passed away on Sunday following a heart attack.

Deepak Malhotra, principal of Dyal Singh College (Evening), passed away on Sunday following a heart attack.

He was 61. Malhotra, who had taught for over two decades in Delhi University, had held several important positions, including his stint as the principal of the college for over 24 years. "It is a very tragic and premature end. Professor Malhotra was a very valued colleague," said Dinesh Singh, DU V-C.
