A Delhi police team on Saturday afternoon raided former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda's residence in Gurgaon and reportedly detained one person, whose identity they did not disclose.

The team, led by an ACP rank police official, reached Kanda's residence around 12pm.
After detaining the person, the family members were questioned for over an hour about him.
"The Delhi police seems to be using pressure-building tactics to force Kanda to surrender," said a Gurgaon police official.
An eyewitness account said that the Kanda family looked desperate and followed the police car after it left their residence.
In another development, a three-member team of National Commission of Women (NCW) headed by Samina Safeeq visited Kanda's MDLR office in Gurgaon. The team questioned Kanda's legal advisor Ankit Ahluwalia and one Parashar for more than two hours.
"We will report our findings only to our chairperson, and no one else, as it may affect our investigation," Safeeq said.
