Expecting a huge turnout of devotees for Goddess Durga’s immersion on Thursday, the Delhi Traffic Police has made elaborate arrangements to ensure smooth vehicular movement across the city.

Keeping in view VIP movement in central Delhi in evening, there will be several restrictions in place at ITO and roads leading to Chandni Chowk. President of India Pratibha Patil, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi will visit Ramlila pandals at Lal Quila in the evening.

There will be diversions of traffic in CR Park, Kalkaji, Nehru Place, Mayur Vihar and Mandir Marg. Vehicular movement will be restricted in south Delhi and Yamuna Ghat in north Delhi.
